I've had a camera in my hand ever since I was a kid, and have accumulated 10+ years of photography experience. I've also been featured by publications such as Wedding Rule and Couture Colorado. Over the years, 100+ clients have granted me the honor of documenting their lives through my lens, and I'm grateful to also consider each client a friend (and the more, the merrier!)
While my imagery is influenced by the timeless aesthetic and rich colors of Kodak film photography, my true inspiration comes from celebrating and capturing the stories and relationships unique to each couple and family. Hi, I'm Erin!
am so excited you're here! My name is Erin, and I'm your NOVA area photographer. I'm a sucker for stunning natural light, and have a passion for preserving precious moments and everyday beauty. Big smiles, infectious laughter, colorful flowers and the clinking of champagne glasses are just a few of my favorite things.
I
I grew up body surfing in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida, and playing make-believe in the backwoods of North Carolina. My free time was spent reading, dancing, and riding my horse... and as I've gotten older, honestly not much has changed!
In 2010 I went to college at North Carolina State University, and it was there, in an Early American History Honors class taught by a quirky and charming professor, that I met my (now) husband. Fast forward 7 years, and the military moved my husband (and thus myself) to Colorado Springs in the gorgeous Rocky Mountains! While we have loved our time in CO, we are so excited to now call NOVA and the DC area home. My husband is my best friend, and we've been happily married since 2019. We enjoy playing each other in Mario Party, watching football, and spending time with our young daughter and pets.
