Pippin Hill is a love story, the passion project of spouses Lynn Easton and Dean Andrews, two hospitality professionals. Nestled into the heart of Virginia’s wine country, this spectacular farm and estate grows fresh produce, makes exemplary wine, and hosts extraordinary events.
With over 41 acres of rolling foothill property, Pippin Hill is known for its delicious boutique wines, kitchen gardens, chickens, bees, and so much more. It’s the perfect venue for couples who love a natural, organic feel without compromising luxury.
Details of the Grounds
The benefit of choosing a venue created by hospitality professionals is that they have considered every last detail in creating a perfect event experience.
Begin your day in the Loft, a serene suite where you and your party can get ready before the big day. Filled with bright natural light, the room includes a hair and makeup bar, plenty of comfortable furniture, and a three-paneled mirror ideal for capturing a dramatic 360-degree portrait of you in your wedding dress or suit. They also offer a room-service-style menu from which you can order a variety of snacks, beverages, or sparkling wine to celebrate the day ahead.
Your partner and their party can partake in the Cellar Experience tucked away into the grotto of the Pippin Hill Wine Cellar. Enjoy a spacious dressing room, plush leather furniture, a television, and the same room service perks as the Loft.
The Ceremony & The Reception
For your ceremony, you can choose to say “I do” in one of two spaces. The first is the stone Veranda, a gorgeous Tuscan-inspired space fully covered and enclosed in winter.
Secondly, you can elect to have your ceremony on one of two Ceremony Lawns, the Vineyard Lawn and the Main Lawn (the more intimate space of the two.) These incredible sites have spectacular views of the rolling mountains in the distance, a stunning backdrop for a vow exchange.
After hosting your cocktail hour either on the Veranda or in Pippin Hill’s beautiful tasting room, your reception will take place in the Granary, with its two-story vaulted ceiling. With enough space to accommodate 200 guests for dinner and dancing, this barn-inspired space is rustic and charming but totally modernized for a contemporary event with plenty of amenities. With ambient lighting and all-season temperature control, it’s the perfect place for a wedding any day of the year.
