Bonnie Blues Event Venue welcomes couples who have dreamt of celebrating their special day in a modern countryside setting. The venue is a family-owned and operated facility located in Elizabeth, Colorado – just an hour away from Denver. It is a hidden gem, set amongst beautiful and lush landscaping, with stunning mountain views. It exudes the natural rustic charm and offers a beautiful view from every corner of the property. For those of you that love horses (like me,) it also features subtle, yet sophisticated, equestrian decor. Bonnie Blues has both indoor and outdoor spaces that are perfect for hosting your wedding and reception. In addition, the ample space easily allows you to accommodate up to 200 guests.
Ceremony Space
The main ceremony site faces the mountains and features perfect golden hour photo-op moments. It also features a newly, and beautifully, built gazebo! This gazebo can be dressed up (think, beautiful greenery and florals) or down (it’s also stunning as is) to your liking. If you’re interested in an open air cocktail hour or reception, the venue also features a concrete patio just off of the main indoor space. Between the ceremony space and the patio, you truly can create a ceremony design that works for you. Bonnie Blues Event Venue has been designed to keep customization in mind, allowing couples to design their special day to look exactly the way they want. All spaces are also accented with lighting to add a fun and celebratory statement to your day. Give me all the cafe lighting!
Indoor Space
While the outdoor ceremony space and patio are certainly stunners, I would be doing Bonnie Blues a disservice to not mention their beautiful indoor space! Featuring cathedral ceilings, chandeliers, an epic stone fireplace, and tons of windows, the indoor area is perfect for hosting your reception and dancing the night away! If you’re worried about the weather… don’t be. In the event of rain, snow, wind, or blistering cold, this area can also double as your ceremony space and cocktail hour.
Bridal Suites at Bonnie Blues Event Venue
In my opinion, the bridal and the groom suites are the main highlights of Bonnie Blues Event Venue. They are spacious enough and have tons of natural light, making the getting-ready photos and portraits phenomenal. The Grooms Suite also offers fun and games, including a TV, foosball table, and even a putting green! These spaces are perfect for enjoying the getting-ready-process with your bridal party and family, right before you are ready to walk down the aisle and say “I Do!”

At Bonnie Blues, you are provided access to the property for 12 hours. This provides you with amble time to utilize many different spaces for photos and fun. High ceilings and tons of windows allow for a lot of natural light to flood in – which is perfect for photos! Grass lawns also make a great space for lawn games.
